Enclosed please find 1 Platinum 900 communicator and passenger headset. The passenger headset no longer functions. The Platinum 900 functions, however as you can see the power cord and audio cords have been spliced together several times. I am hoping you can examine both units and effect any warranted repairs. If for some reason you feel it is not warranty related please contact me, as I would be interested in upgrading to the newer Platinum 900, which is stereo.
I understand the unit appears well used and it is. I have logged nearly 40,000 miles on my motorcycle with it. This is in southern WI where the weather changes at the drop of a hat. It has been superb and I could not be more pleased. I make frequent calls on my cell phone as well as listen to music through it. When I use it for calls the people whom I am speaking to have no idea I am on a motorcycle. The only difficulty I have had is with the cord, which you have sent a replacement for in the past. I cannot thank you enough for providing a very fine product. In this day and age of throwaway gadgetry it is nice to know there are still people making quality items.
I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Kevin Jerdee

Hello:
My name is Robert and I wanted to tell you how happy I am with your product and specifically with your customer service. I am an event coordinator with the Canim Lake ATV Mud Rumble (www.atvmudrumble.com)æ and as such needed communication equipment that was inexpensive yet worked well. I did quite a bit of investigation before choosing your product and I can say with confidence that your product does what you say it will do and at a fair price.
Recently, while scouting a route for our day ride, one of our riders was involved in an accident which resulted in the rider being thrown from the ATV and subsequently run over by the same ATV. Luckily the rider was wearing a helmet with the Platinum 900 communication system which allowed for a quick response to the accident. Before the unit was damaged and became non-functional, it was able to transmit for a split second which alerted the other rider to the emergency.
The rider involved in the accident sustained broken ribs and other various injuries in addition to the Platinum 900 being damaged.
This is where the story gets interesting because of what happened next. Your company was contacted to arrange for shipping and any other instructions to have the unit repaired and off it went. There was no talk of warranty of course because the unit was damaged due to an accident and that is certainly not a manufacturers defect and we fully expected to pay whatever the cost to have it repaired.
The total process took only several days and the unit was returned to us with new parts and a personal note from Ryan, the repair technician, expressing his concern for the victim of the accident and his hope that the person was ok. This was quite surprising, but even more surprising, there was no invoice for the repair of the unit.
This kind of service is very rare. Imagine, a company that actually exceeds the customer's expectations. Simply outstanding!
I just wanted to drop you a couple of lines to let you know that your company is definitely on the right track and with this kind of product and customer service your company has a great future. By the way, are you listed on any stock exchanges? If you are, please send me your symbol and the exchange your listed on.
Thank you very much and keep up the great customer service you have in place. It will take your company a long way.
Please thank Ryan for his concern.
Kind Regards
Robert

Dear Collett MFG'ing,
I have owned my Collett radio's for three years. We started out with two radio's and a intercom unit, this year I purchased yet another unit to add more flexibility to the family ride. My family & I ride snowmobiles every weekend and wouldn't ride without a Collett radio on board.. These radio's are the greatest thing, as a family riding we communicate about trail conditions, trail hazards, road crossings, snowmobile traffic, views etc. We love them, thanks for the great service & product..
Think Snow !!!!
Thanks again Joe

Dear Les:
Me and my wife have had our communicators since the start of the 2005 season. These units have saved our canadian bacon at least six times. Weather it was an on coming car as we approached a cross road or meeting other snowmobilers on blind sections of single ungroomed trails.... they were invaluable. One particular case, I had crested a hill and my wife following me had managed to set her machine on its side and was thrown off and only five more feet or so the machine would have tumbled down a 30 ft cliff......she had called over the communicator to me that she was holding the sled from rolling with her leg. If not for the communicators, how far would I have been down the trail before I noticed she was not behind me? I could not imagine being without them now and we also listen to our favorite music, which brings me to a question I have about the speakers. The music could have more bass.....do you have stereo speaker which would allow this?
Thanks again for a wonderful product.
Mark & Lenette

Hello
I'd like to let you know that I've had my Platinum 900 comms set (rider-passenger) for just about a year now and I'm completely satisfied. It is used on my motorcycle and my wife and I are very happy with the quality and performance of your product. To date, all of our trips have been 500-600 kms and less. In ten days we are taking the bike on a 8000 km round trip from Victoria BC. to Cabo San Lucas Mexico. I don't think my wife would be too keen on a trip of that duration without your communications set.¾ I'll let you know how it works out. Thanks again,
Paul

Hi: My name is Bill
I purchased the Platinum Communicators 900 last spring for the better half and myself. We certainly enjoy them and have been very useful. This past summer we rode our ATV's across Newfoundland(957km's) and found them to be great. It was a guided tour and the better half being the only woman rode behind the guide I was at the back of the pack. With it sometimes dusty the group would great spread out for quite a distance. We travelled on the old Silver Bullet railroad line so we were never worried about getting lost so we stretched out several miles, (why eat dust). We were able to keep in touch the guide would point out various things along the trail and Mil would send word back to me and I was able to also view what the guided pointed out where others would drive by and never did see some things (like moose). Thanks, Bill

I recently posted a thread on dirtrider.net about how pleased I am with your product. I think that site is the largest dirtbiking site in the world.I like your product because of its simplicity of use, clarity of sound, and the inherent safety and instructional benefits it affords my son and I. Several times we've given each other a heads-up on the trail when there has been unexpected traffic... and, since my son is a new rider, it's been invaluable as a teaching tool. PLUS, we get to sing and joke around while we ride... maybe one of the more important benefits!
Thank you,
Bruce
